Harp lessons now available at Genesis!
Did you know your child can learn to play the harp at Genesis? We have have an experienced harpist working in our Instrumental Music Department and we’re one of only a few schools in Brisbane to offer harp tuition.
Unlike many instruments the harp is beautiful to listen to from the very beginning – even a beginner’s practice can sound magical and quite angelic.
Harps come in many different sizes making it suitable for both younger and older beginners. Children from the age of 8 generally have the strength and coordination required to cope with the physical aspects of learning the harp.
Suitable beginner harps are actually more affordable than you might imagine! However the College does own some harps so please contact the Music Department regarding the possibility of hiring one. For more info please contact us!
